I found out that today is Random Act of Kindness Day. What a perfect day to send out the first 50 bee nice cards! It was a lot of work to get it all done, but I've got a card for one household in each of the 50 states ready to go out in the mail!

ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet idea! I've thought of doing something similar with charms (it's $1.50 for a "lucky turtle" glass charm), but not with your blog twist. Instead of good deeds, I wanted to give them to special people who do something amazing to make me smile and appreciate the goodness around me more.
ReplyDeleteI saw a handicapped girl at Walmart and her mother told her no for something. She was very disappointed but handled it well and when they left the store she had a smile on her face and was holding mom's hand. No grudge held and it was just so sweet I wanted to hug her or something, but I didn't--I just smiled inside.
I admire what you're doing and if you get just a handful of responses, at least you know you touched someone. :)
